June 21, 2026
Asendia Singapore/South Asia top management team include (left to right) Head of Finance Steven HO, Head of Commercial Andrew SIM, COO Carl HEMUS and CEO Senthil KUMAR (far right) visited Asendia Singapore's customer service team in Cambodia: Rosaka UNG, Panha Raksmey RATANA and Senmongkul SOM.

Asendia Singapore, a global leader in e-commerce logistics and mail delivery, is expanding its presence in the Asia-Pacific region by launching a new customer service team in Cambodia. The team will operate out of the Confluences Office Community in Phnom Penh to support regional operations.

This major progress follows their market access journey in Cambodia facilitated by Confluences Access back in 2025.  Establishing this dedicated customer service team in Cambodia is crucial for Asendia Singapore in their long-term engagement with Cambodia.

The Pilot Phase: Starting Right Path to Scale Big

The current local operations team in Cambodia is an essential interface for Asendia Singapore's global customers and internal working partners, handling customer enquiries to deliver excellent customer service with timely and accurate solutions.

Although the Phnom Penh team is still in their early stage, this is an essential pilot phase that set path for the team growth for additional support functions for broader Asendia Singapore ecosystem, once the operational workflows stabilize.

Future expansions could see the Cambodia-based team handling more regional operations, including logistics support for Asendia Singapore’s worldwide e-commerce network, especially support future integration of Asendia Singapore services with Cambodia's industry actors.

“As part of our business process outsourcing project, we were looking for markets with high human capital in terms of capability and language skills and in addition, we were also looking to execute quickly in terms of implementation and navigation of local regulations with a keen focus on compliance. Confluences has been a key and valued partner for us in this regard and we have successfully gone live in an extremely expedited and efficient manner and we are now ready to start scaling in tandem with our business growth.” —  Senthil KUMAR, CEO of Asendia Singapore/South Asia.

Achieving a successful operational setup that ticks off all the local compliance requirements requires expert local support. Asendia Singapore's operational set up in Cambodia, from sourcing specialized talent and managing HR via an Employer of Record (EoR), full compliance, to setting up their office within Confluences office community, was fully managed by Confluences Operations.
