Based in Thailand, Belaws is a legal tech company offering legal, corporate, and accounting services through an online digital platform.

Confluences have been assisting Belaws with their expansion in Cambodia as a local partner, and from the onset (and after a conclusive market study conducted in 2019) the company settled in Cambodia and is among our resident companies, and forms a part of our “Ventures” projects.

The legal platform has grown to include several experts across different fields. Clients around the country now benefit from easy access to a pool of lawyers through the one-stop service. In addition to Cambodia, Belaws is present in Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Vietnam which allows its clients to coordinate on cross-border matters.

Belaws has also been actively keeping up with the latest technological advancements. As a result, Belaws now offers services tailored to the Web3 industry (whitepaper reviews, legal opinion drafting, IP protection, licensing, etc). The team of experts at Belaws is currently working on several Web3 projects which are structured overseas. To further strengthen their Web3 offerings, Belaws has recently started a collaboration with Clevereen, a company specialising in designs for the metaverse. The two companies are now offering a full package to help companies enter the metaverse. Clevereen supervises the design and technical development of the project while Belaws’ experts provide legal support.

Additionally, a new member of staff has joined Belaws. Valentin Meakin is a business law exchange student at the Royal University of Law and Economics. He has been interning with the company since March 2022 and is in charge of drafting legal content for the website. He also collaborates with Belaws’ copywriter on legal research.
