On September 11-12, 2025, Confluences hosted the delegation of Business France Mission 2025 in Cambodia, including Matière, Saint-Gobain, Spirit France, Club Med and Edumalin with B2B meetings connecting them to key stakeholders in hospitality, education, retail, and infrastructure and more.
Organized by Team France Export of Business France, the mission is designed to help French companies expand internationally. This year, Claudia ALVES DIAS, Event Project Manager for Geographic and Strategic Events at Business France, accompanied the delegates to Malaysia, Vietnam, and Cambodia, each arriving with unique needs. As a partner in Cambodia, Confluences played the role of facilitator making sure their needs were met by introducing them to key companies, ministries, international financial institutions such as the French Development Agency (AFD) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) as well as French business community active here for direct valuable insights, network essential to step into one of ASEAN’s fastest-growing countries.
Matière designs, builds, and installs various engineering structures, from modular bridges and metal and concrete structures to Unibridge® system for repairing and replacing old bridges.
Matière sees opportunities as Cambodia moves forward with ambitious infrastructure projects. Recent meetings with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, AFD, and the EU Delegation were Matière’s important step in placing themselves as another leading French’s company to contribute to Cambodia’s development.

In Cambodia, Saint-Gobain PAM is already a trusted name as a pipe supplier for large-scale water infrastructure projects, from the Phnom Penh Water Supply System Extension in 2015 to the Bakheng Water Treatment Plant in 2020.
Building on this strong reputation, PAM aims to contribute to more development projects across the country. Confluences connected PAM with public and private stakeholders to explore potential national project to bring quality water to Cambodia.

Spirit France Diffusion produces and distributes premium French craft spirits, particularly Calvados and Armagnac, exclusively from AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée or Protected Designation of Origin) regions. They are behind renowned brands such as Père Magloire, Boulard, and Lecompte, as well as Janneau and Le Marque.
Now, Spirit France Diffusion is looking to share the tradition and excellence of these spirits with new audiences, and Cambodia is on the list. With Confluences’ support, the brand presented their portfolio to seven potential import and distribution partners to reach new consumers in the region.
