Convergences hosted the "Change on the Frontline" advanced training on April 3–4 for the senior management team of Cambodia Airports, the subsidiary of VINCI Airports, which develops and operates the Kingdom’s international airports of Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville.

The session focused on building the skills and mindset needed to manage organizational change and support HR transformation in a real business context.

Navigating Change with Confidence

Set to operate the new Techo International Airport, which is scheduled to open second half of 2025, Cambodia Airports foresees operational, and process changes to occur – all of which having direct or indirect sway on people.

To help prepare for this transition, the training focused on change management, including building a change roadmap and identifying strategic initiatives. Participants engaged in hands-on exercises and group discussions, exploring how to respond to change proactively while maintaining alignment with business goals. Throughout the sessions, clear communication, empathy, and process integration were emphasized as crucial elements for achieving successful organizational transformation.

Rather than perceiving change as a disruption, Convergences encouraged attendees to see it as an opportunity for growth and a responsibility to lead others with confidence.

Built on Experience, Designed for Action

Convergences develops this program based on years of experience supporting major industrial and multinational companies through periods of internal change. Led by Denis BARRE, Managing Director of Convergences, who brings over 25 years of expertise in human resources and business services, the training was designed to equip HR leaders and department heads with practical tools for immediate application within their teams.

Denis summarized the importance of the training by saying, "Much like the chameleon relies on its ability to change and adapt, modern organizations must embrace flexibility in our processes, our thinking, and our strategies if they are to stay competitive and seize new opportunities."

Why this Training Matters Now

Cambodia’s private sector is evolving quickly. With increased investment, digital shifts, and emerging talent, organizations must prepare their people for more fluid work environments. Convergences supports businesses by strengthening their internal capacity—through executive placements and targeted capability development.

"Change on the Frontline" is part of a growing suite of practical programs developed by Convergences to help companies adapt to emerging challenges while preparing for future growth.
