Strategic Focus for 2026

With a fresh team of specialists, Confluences Access is consolidating its expertise to guide partners through Cambodia’s evolving market. Their 2026 calendar will be a roadmap to reopen the conversation between the global business community and Cambodia, repairing the gaps left by the previous year’s instability. The focuses include:

  • Increase Cambodia’s Visibility via Business Events and Forums: The 2026 push focuses on active advocacy. The goal isn't just attendance but continue to being vocal about Cambodia’s potential by providing updated market insights and building direct lines to industry leaders to keep Cambodia on the agenda in international discussions.
  • Trade missions remain high-impact tool for market entry: The team will continue to scale their focus on trade missions, placing companies directly into the right markets through personalized and high-value B2B meetings with targeted public and private stakeholders. Two missions involving more than 30 businesses are already in the pipeline.

  • Scale Data-Driven Market Access Services: Following the success of their study project and data collection for embassies last year, broadening Cambodian market research will be a key priority this year. The first-hand data from in-house research will place international companies, institutional partners in the right diplomatic outreach, impactful development programs or validating market fit for long-term entry.

  • Strengthen Partnerships and Ecosystem Building: The team is working closely to bring more collaboration with long-term partners such as Business France, Advantage Austria, AWEX and other institutional trade agencies, while deepening ties with clients, public stakeholders, and networks. The focus is to build a more integrated business support ecosystem, both within Confluences and with external partners, to support clients from their first market visit to full-scale operations in Cambodia.
