Confluences on a Mission for the Francophonie!

July 28, 2021
Francophonie Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation's Team and Confluences visiting Factory - Phnom Penh.

Confluences Access is currently working, at the request of the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in collaboration with the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia, on the organisation of the first economic and trade mission of the OIF (International Organisation of the Francophonie) to Cambodia.

The International Organisation of the Francophonie (OIF) is a legal entity under international public law created in 1970, bringing together 88 states or governments.

In October 2021, an official delegation will travel to Vietnam and then to Cambodia for an economic and trade mission with a particular focus on the growth sectors of agro-industry, renewable energy and digital goods and services. Led by OIF Secretary General Louise Mushikiwabo, more than 70 business leaders from all over the world (Africa, North America, Western Europe, Indian Ocean region) will attend to meet with key local economic players.

During this mission, economic forums, B2B meetings, meetings between business promotion agencies, and company visits will be organised to highlight all of the economic and commercial opportunities that Cambodia offers. We are delighted to be able to contribute to the planning of this official event by providing our support and advice.

In August 2021, the “Rencontre des Entrepreneurs Francophones” (REF: “French-speaking entrepreneurs' meeting”) will be held in France - this is one of the most prestigious events in Paris organised by the MEDEF (first employers' union founded in 1998). At this event, one and a half days will be dedicated to the French-speaking world. This will allow the economic players of the French-speaking world including companies, start-ups, public authorities and employers' institutions from different countries to be represented.

Confluences is proud to announce it will also be participating at this event.
