From June 23 to 25, the Académie des Patronats, organized by the Alliance des Patronats Francophones (APF), brought together leaders from business organizations across Francophone countries, offering workshops that explored how to support SMEs in strengthening their financial structures, advocating for their members, and engaging with international partners. The sessions, led by Maëlys DEFAYE (APF), facilitated dense, practical exchanges that provided valuable insights for Confluences' strategic vision in Cambodia.

Reflecting on the discussions, our CEO remarked: "In a landscape already rich with business associations and mixed chambers, a well-structured Cambodian patronat could play a key role in the future by adopting a collective, representative, and institutional stance to serve local businesses that would amplify their voice in national economic debates and become a driving force for sustainable growth.

REF 2025

From June 26 to 28, the 5th edition of REF in Brazzaville attracted over 2,000 participants, including nearly 800 international delegates from more than 40 francophone countries. The event was held at the International Conference Center of Kintélé and the Hilton Les Tours Jumelles, and launched with a high-profile ceremony under the patronage of President Denis Sassou NGUESSO, UniCongo President Michel DJOMBO, and other dignitaries.

Featuring conferences, panels, keynotes, and discussions aimed at stimulating business opportunities and strengthening partnerships, the 2025 edition of the REF marked a significant advancement in the integration of the francophone economic space.

With the country set to host the 2026 edition, Confluences is preparing to contribute actively, leveraging partnerships developed during these events. We are proud to be part of this initiative, which strengthens Cambodia's role in the francophone economic community and acknowledges our efforts to support international business development.
