Confluences is delighted to work on a project related to the “AFD Cambodia Digital Sector Outlook 2023,” where the Confluences team will conduct the required digital sector mapping. Our team will also contribute to meeting all RFC ministries, agencies, regulatory authorities, subnational administration, state-owned enterprises, and other stakeholders as identified in the CDESPF and CDGP reference document. Confluences will work on the project from January to April 2023, and our team will be dedicated in meeting AFD’s outcomes and prime objectives.
Confluences will take the initiative and join the efforts of other bilateral development agencies, multilateral development banks, international non-government organisations, and other development partners.
Confluences and AFD have previously worked together on different projects for many years.
Previously, in 2021, Confluences conducted a market research report to study the benefits and impacts of Chinese tourism pre-COVID and during COVID upon the request of the Ministry of Tourism and Agence Française de Développement (AFD).
In 2022, Confluences worked on a project funded directly by AFD called “Trove Tourism Developing of a Sangkat-Level Urban Tourism Plan,” in which our team identified Phnom Penh Sangkats as premier sustainable urban heritage tourism destinations, in partnership with a New York-based company called Trove Tourism Development Advisors.
With the confirmation of the “AFD Cambodia Digital Sector Outlook 2023” project, Confluences is thrilled to pursue working on a variety of projects with AFD and we hope to continue to collaborate on more in the future!
