Confluences signed a representation agreement in Cambodia with the leading international ropeways manufacturer, Doppelmayr Group, in March of 2023. Our Access department was delighted to host their most recent visit from the 28th of May to the 1st of June.

Doppelmayr Group is the quality, technology, and market leader in ropeway engineering and specializes in planning, developing, designing, manufacturing, building and supporting innovative projects. The group has built more than 15,100 installations for customers in 96 nations.

Confluences serves as Doppelmayr Group’s exclusive agent in Cambodia, with our main task being the exploration and identification of business prospects within the country. Since 2022, Confluences' Access Team, supported by Borarangsey Korm (Market Access Analyst), has been ably assisting Doppelmayr Group with their initiatives.

The partnership aims to explore and identify business opportunities in Cambodia to further develop mobility solutions. Although the Austrian-based company is in the machinery manufacturing industry, their focus on the Cambodian market involves the distribution of cable cars. Recognizing the unique opportunity within Cambodia's tourism sector, they intend to capitalize on the growth of the industry by offering innovative transportation solutions.  

Mr. Martin Ladner, Area Manager of Dopplemayr Group, visited Cambodia in late May, for another series of B2B meetings with prospects. This marks the group's fifth visit to Cambodia, during which they will conduct follow-up meetings with existing clients and prospect meetings for new clients.
