May 1, 2024

On Tuesday April 2, 2024, Confluences participated in a live webinar hosted by EOC International. Attended by Cambodians and Vietnamese representatives alike, they convened on a collaborative mission for exportation opportunities for French enterprises to diverge into the food and beverage industries of both countries respectively.

Confluences joins hands with EOC International to enhance the commercial opportunities of the Cambodian markets. Our role involves representing local partners, aiding in market research, and providing insights into the local market.

The webinar was of particular interest to French enterprises interested in the food and beverage market in the regions – in which the two growing markets have seen increased demand for French products.

The aim is to unite six companies in the agri-food sectors, who intends to develop their market share in either of the two Southeast Asian countries, with this project being co-financed by the French Ministry of Agriculture.

In Cambodia, delicatessen products and French wines dominates in our Francophile markets. This presents opportunities for French enterprises given the increasing interest in organic products and a growing consumer expectation for diversity, authenticity, food safety, and quality service.

As local experts we represented Cambodia and its markets, fostering relationships with local partners, and providing targeted assistance to navigate the local business landscape.

To find out more about the project, please contact EOC representative Carole Durris, for more information on the Vietnamese markets please contact SOA representatives, and for the Cambodian markets please contact Dara N. Van (Business Development Manager).
