On the 21st of October, 2023, our Ventures companies Malongo Coffee, and Monsieur Wine & Beyond, together with one of our partners, Carnets d'Asie, had booths at the 2023 French Market which was held at the French Embassy in Phnom Penh.
The French Market was launched in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic, by the CCIFCF in partnership with the Embassy of France. The CCIFC (French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia) said that the 2023 edition broke the attendance record with more than 13,500 guests visiting the 70 booths!
Malongo Coffee is a French coffee brand created in 1934, and is now ranked number one on the organic and fair trade coffee markets. In 2022, Confluences took over all Malongo distribution in Cambodia. During the French Market, our team served more than 300 cups of coffee, with the most popular purchase being the "Italian Style". The team also took the opportunity to introduce 5 new flavours and the new EOH machine was displayed as well.
