Preparation workshop for the economic and trade mission.

February 28, 2022
Soreasmey Ke Bin - S.E. Yiseang Chhiv - Chekou Oussouman - Jacques Lauer

We told you about it last July, Confluences Access is currently working on the request of the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and alongside the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia, to organise the first economic and trade mission of the OIF (International Organisation of the Francophonie) to Cambodia.

In February, the second preparatory workshop was held for this event, which will take place in Cambodia from 28 to 30 March 2022.

Our CEO, Soreasmey Ke Bin, acted as moderator alongside H.E. Yiseang Chhiv, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and National Correspondent for La Francophonie, and a delegation from the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) with Jacques Lauer, Chekou Oussouman, and Kaloyan Kolev.

More than 100 Cambodian companies were present, as well as representatives of the main Cambodian ministries concerned, and the heads of the Cambodian and foreign chambers of commerce who are supporting us in this process.

In March, more than 80 companies from the French-speaking world, and therefore from several continents, are expected to come and discover the opportunities of the Cambodian market. This is a first for both the "business" Francophonie and for the Kingdom of Cambodia, which is the most active Asian member of the Francophonie.

As a reminder, this first mission will focus on the growth sectors of agro-industry, renewable energies and digital goods and services, and will be structured around economic forums, B2B meetings, meetings between trade promotion agencies, and company visits in order to highlight all the economic and commercial opportunities that Cambodia represents.
