Confluences’ CEO Soreasmey KE BIN attended VivaTech 2025, Europe’s leading tech event, accompanying H.E. Dr. Chanmeta KAN, Cambodia’s Secretary of State for Industry, Science, and Technology, for their third visit together to promote Cambodia’s growing tech ecosystem.
Invited by the Alliance des Patronats Francophones (APF) and Business France, Dr. Chanmeta KAN joined a roundtable alongside Thani MOHAMED-SOILIHI, Minister Delegate for Francophonie and International Partnerships. The session, which Soreasmey KE BIN helped organize in his role as ambassador of the APF for Southeast Asia, focused on Francophonie, AI, and Digital Innovation.
It was also the occasion to initiate promising discussions with Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France Regional Council, about developing ties between Cambodia and France's most populous and economically dynamic region. We look forward to welcoming a delegation in Cambodia to explore potential economic collaborations during the series of events organized alongside the Francophonie Summit 2026.
Two major announcements were made during this event: APF will organize the second edition of FrancoTech in Phnom Penh in 2026, with the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and the local ecosystem, on the sidelines of the Francophonie Summit. An ongoing partnership with our client and partner the French EdTech company Edumalin was also announced.
On June 13, France Education International (FEI), a public agency under the Ministry of National Education, specializing in training, evaluation, and language certification, hosted a strategic meeting at its headquarters in Sèvres, France, to discuss the deployment of Edumalin's innovative platform in Cambodia. Facilitated by François BARITIU, Chairman of Edumalin, our CEO Soreasmey KE BIN attended the session chaired by Olivier BRANDOUY, CEO of FEI, alongside Dr. Chanmeta KAN, Cambodia's Secretary of State for Digital Transformation, and Dr. Ky LENG, his assistant.
FEI presented its activities in digital education, including applied AI, general teaching, and vocational training, with an emphasis on current and future projects in Cambodia. Discussions revealed promising opportunities for cooperation, particularly in strengthening STEM disciplines within Cambodia's education system. The dialogue also stressed the importance of international cooperation in developing inclusive, innovative digital education strategies that improve learning outcomes and encourage student self-regulation.
This meeting lays the groundwork for the deployment of innovative Edtech solutions that will help reshape Cambodia's educational landscape through digital transformation and support its development objectives.
Confluences is proud to contribute to this journey, committed to advancing impactful, innovative initiatives for the Kingdom.
