Confluences CEO Mr. Soreasmey KE BIN was invited by SET (Stock Exchange of Thailand) at the beginning of August to join the “1st SET International Conference on Family Business" in Bangkok, Thailand. Over 200 top business executives attended the event, mostly from Thailand, but also from Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam. It was a good opportunity to connect and engage in discussions with those showing an interest in the Cambodian market and our CEO also met some of our clients and partners.

KE BIN also traveled to Ho Chi Minh City to attend several meetings with existing and potential clients and partners and these efforts should lead to new projects being announced in due course.

We use every opportunity to develop our ties with our neighbours and our Head of Operations, Ms. Helene KHLOT,  joined a Cambodian delegation visiting Vientiane to sign a MOU between the Faculty of Economic and Business Management (FEB), National University of Laos (NUOL), and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). As one of the representatives for the ACCA team, KHLOT was also part of the panel of discussions during the seminar on the subject of "Enhancing Your Employability". This represented a great opportunity for us to further develop ties with the local stakeholders, as Confluences has a strong interest in the Laotian market. We are also working on bringing some of our Laotian partners into the Cambodian market.
