For an upcoming consulting project focusing on CLIMATE RESILIENT AND LEARNING-ORIENTED SCHOOL INFRASTRUCTURE, we are now looking for a Professor/Professional affiliated with the local university to join our team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with the local authority and the universities’ principal.
• Participate in risk assessment of target schools as part of the project.
• Do project presentations and work with technical and non-technical participants.
• Facilitate project deadline and survey conducting.

QUALIFICATION:

• Ph.D. degree or equivalent experience in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working in the field of civil engineering/construction.
• Experience related to resilient and safer design for school infrastructure is preferred.
• Knowledge of the local civil engineering, construction, disaster risk management, or related field in Cambodia.
• Active participation in professional/scientific committees on topics related to civil engineering construction, and disaster risk management is an advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Working proficiency in in Khmer and English (written and spoken) is desired.
