Our client initiates their own projects in the Cambodian market, in ASEAN, as well as for their French-speaking clients. Additionally, they develop projects that add value and have a potentially positive impact on the country. For each of their projects, their digital team, composed of Designers and Developers, works to create and deliver digital projects that meet these needs, whether they are websites, platforms, or mobile applications.

To assist in their development and reach their goals, Confluences is actively looking for an eager and ambitious UX/UI Designer Intern to join their team.

Duties

We are seeking a passionate and talented UX/UI Designer with a strong affinity for creativity, an eye for detail, and expertise in design system creation and maintain, particularly on Figma.

As a UX/UI Designer, you will assist in both internal and client projects, you will be at the forefront of the visual creation of our digital projects. We are seeking a creative, diligent, and detail-oriented professional to enhance our team.

What you’ll do

• Designing attractive and intuitive user interfaces for our various digital projects, which can be websites, eshops, platforms, and mobile apps.
• Create and be responsible of powerful design systems on Figma, creating components and instances.
• Creating graphic elements, icons, and illustrations for our digital products. And also creating branding tool kits, social media kits and ad banners.
• Adapting all mockups into responsive designs across different device sizes (phone, tablet, desktop).
• Collaborating with the Development team to ensure a seamless integration of design until the final delivery.
• Working closely with the Content and Marketing team to ensure visual consistency.
• Keeping a constant watch on design trends and best practices.
• Work collaboratively to trouble shoot technical issues and participate in larger web development projects.

Candidate requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in any Design, Digital or Multimedia specialty.
• Ideally a first proven internship experience as UX/UI Designer or Graphic Designer.
• Advanced on Figma, from mastering the tool to creating design systems, prototyping, components, and variables.
• Excellent design culture, developed creativity, and aesthetic sensibility.
• Having a portfolio showcasing previous achievements.
• Skilled on Webflow would be a plus.
• French Speaker preferred, good written and verbal communication skills in English (acceptable level).
• Ability to work effectively in a team, with a collaborative mindset.
• Meticulous, organized, detail-oriented in task execution, and capable of meeting deadlines.
