Confluences joined the delegation of Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (CanCham) to the Canada-in-Asia Conference 2026 (CIAC 2026) in Singapore on February 10–11, 2026, aligning on energy, infrastructure, and food security. Our participation in this conference is advancing the Canada–Cambodia tie not just diplomatically but towards a long-term economic partners and collaboration for the 20th Francophonie Summit in Cambodia.
CIAC 2026, organized by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, brought together senior leaders from government, industry, and research to address global challenges and emerging opportunities for Canada–Asia collaboration. The Cambodian delegation, representing the Kingdom’s private sector, was the largest among Asian participants, showing the country’s growing engagement in international conversation especially Indo-Pacific economic platforms.

The conference focused on three main pillars: food security, energy security, and infrastructure, alongside themes like politics, investment, and technology. The discussions underscored several priorities:
“The CIAC2026 highlights the direct relevance of our work across six critical areas: infrastructure, energy transition, agri-food, digital transformation, strategic investments, and M&A. These themes confirm that our integrated platform, which combines Access, Operations, and Capital, is well positioned and ready to help Canadian and Asian businesses work together.” — Soreasmey KE BIN, CEO of Confluences.

As Cambodia prepares to host the 2026 Francophonie Summit, its partnership with Canada and Québec is expected to play an important role as they are major economic partners with strong growth potential in Cambodia.
Confluences have been a central link in strengthening these connections, building on the success of last year’s Canadia and Québec's Trade Mission. Through our engagement at CIAC, we continue to deepen this connection and offer a trusted gateway for businesses, helping turn this conversation into opportunities between these markets and across the wider Francophone market.
Beyond the official conference sessions, Confluences also extended this Singapore mission to have focused meetings with regional partners and clients to discuss on-going projects and seek more opportunities for a broader regional development.
