Immersive Angkor is progressing on site, while the expertise supporting its development continues to grow. With more than 20 years of experience delivering major immersive projects across Asia and Europe, members of the Legendary Group team have arrived in Cambodia to support the project’s next phase. Confluences is facilitating their establishment in the country as part of its wider support for Legendary Group’s development in Cambodia.

Immersive Angkor Progress Overview

Construction at the Living Arts Pavilion site continues to progress smoothly into its next phase.

Immersive Angkor was initiated by Confluences, which established the project’s local foundations and mobilized the capabilities, partnerships, and resources required for its development. The project is now led and developed by Legendary Group, with Confluences continuing to provide local support.

Construction began following the project’s groundbreaking ceremony in February 2026, alongside the Living Arts Pavilion at the Living Arts Village of Artisans Angkor. The attraction will occupy the building’s first floor. By July, construction had entered the structural phase and was moving toward completion of the roof floor. Architectural works and building services, including masonry and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, were also progressing steadily.

The project’s progress was presented during a formal meeting between Legendary Group Executive Director Anne ZHAO and Cambodian Prime Minister HUN Manet in Shanghai on July 17, 2026. This followed Legendary Group CEO Geoffroy LADET’s meeting with the Prime Minister in 2024, reflecting continued high-level interest in the project.
